issue with Rhyniognatha

anyone having issues being able to feed the host dino it's cravings?? i'm not getting any "press blank to feed craving" etc

Put the craving on your last item slot then hold E on the creature. The feed option for its craving shows up on the radial menu.

This is, at least in ASA now, not working with gasoline and achatina paste. Lost 3 Rexes due to such stupid cravings
As the first ones .. at the end i got 3 under lvl 50 rhynios .. so HOW can i feed non foos craving? Because youte not able to place them in quick bar

well there is the new feature to toggle your quickbar with your inventory and you can cycle it. if it happens to me i'll try that and see if i can then feed the craving.

I got this mod called "Be Reasonable" makes the cravings less moronic (like no golden hesperonis eggs). Course.... i have not seen one Rhynio since day 1 of ASA release.

That's weird. On our ASA dedicated server (vanilla, no mods), we have 1 or 2 Rhynios constantly and, each time we kill one, another one almost instantly respawns somewhere.

I just edited the wiki and added this info, just why, wasted hours getting the items together to sit and stare at a gas can in the bronto's inventory, so dumb.

You edited the wiki with a wrong information. The craving just needs to be in your personal inventory, no need to place it on your last slot like for passive taming. With the item in your inventory, just hold E on the host, a radial menu will appear and you'll be able to feed the baby.

Pressing E like for usual passive taming does not work, you need to HOLD E.

My baby rhynio doesn’t want to follow me and I even put its follow distance on lowest. Nothing seems to work; what’s going on?
