Dedicated Server Saves
There is a setting in this .ini file that controls auto saving on a server, but if you shut down the server before this interval or if the server crashes, you lose everything since the last save. Is there a way to manual save on the server? I worry that reducing the save interval may cause a lag each time it saves.

I don't think ASE worked this way.

If you shut the server down properly it saves on exit. Just type quit in the command line.

To manually save you can type in "admincheat saveworld"

But it's better to just change the save frequency. The save function causes absolutely zero lag or hitches.

Ohhhh. I never thought about just trying "quit". I'm not the OP, but I was looking for this exact same thing.

So when running commands in the ASA dedicated server console (typing in the textbox and clicking the "Run Command" button) you still need to preface the command with "admincheat"?

The ASA dedicated server console is very different than the ASE dedicated server console. With the ASE server console, I always just used CTRL + C to save and exit, but that doesn't work on the new ASA one. I'll have to give the "quit" command a shot. Thanks!

It looks like the "quit" command did successfully save and exit the server, however the "admincheat saveworld" command didn't do anything when executing it in the dedicated server console (different than the in-game console).

Haven't been able to test that "admincheat saveworld" command in the in-game console yet, but I know that used to work as intended on ASE. Not sure if that changed at all on ASA though.

.when typing quiting the console you do not use admincheat, that is only for the in-game commands

The admincheat saveworld is an in-game command, not the server console

Is there a command reference for the dedicated server console?

SOLUTION!

In the server window there is a chevron button in the top right. Click that to open the command line at the bottom. You can now type 'quit' and shutdown your server gracefully.

Solution given to me by @Ravager1301
