If the cost-to-looks is worth it to you then yes. I got it and am having zero regrets. It's as fun as I remember and looks ten times better. Obviously it's still TheArkExperience™.

Also the quality of life additions and changes are good too. A lot less frustration.

It can run well for you if work with the settings. And use some commands in game as well. Or it can constantly crash. Its a toss up how will run for you.

You'll enjoy it on low unless you're playing at 1080p. you can do mid then, just beware of the crashing.

I would agree with the above comment. Please be aware that this game can crash a lot. Performance will be your last worry most likely.

Run with all the graphics options on the right side panel turned off. Stopped 90% of all the crashes i was having. Still looks really good, and i can wait till WC is done fiddling with the console release and start squashing bugs/crashes.

But crashes are real as far as i can tell.

i have a 1080 and the game on low's & meds looks still even better then the old on highs and epic's.
sure i need to be happy with 40-55 fps, but its not a shooter in the "shooter sens" and its ok to play at them fps. then again, i'm not one of the crying peeps who NEEDS 4k 144fps or its bad.

I'm playing on a GTX 1060 6GB. It's actually lower than the minimum specs. I play on low settings and use "r.VolumetricCloud 0", "r.VolumetricFog 0", and "grass.Enable 0" when I join the game and get a steady 40 frames. This rig is over 5 years old.
