I have a question about DLCs

So I just bought Ark ASA and I was wondering if all DLCs that are coming in the future (like Genesis and Scorched Earth) are included with the price I just paid, or will I have to pay extra for them?

Whatever DLC you own will be free to download.

All story expansions are stated on the store page to be included, regardless of whether you own them for Survival Evolved or not. What that guy above said is wrong.
They might make actual new, paid stuff in the future though.

No mention of the free community maps, but there's already an achievement for beating The Center so Im guessing they're included as well (and probably also free because anything else would be insane). They might make actual new, paid stuff in the future though.

"We also plan to have the previously released free DLC available: The Center, Ragnarok, Valguero, Crystal Isles, Lost Island, and Fjordur. Each of these respective maps will receive one completely new creature nominated by the community."

Wasn't my intention lol, just plain didn't see it since it's in the Early Access segment and not the actual store page description

All the current DLCs and free maps that ASE has are included in your purchase of ASA. They said they are releasing another DLC map (storyline) in end of 2024. That one is not included.

The store page clearly told you:

"ARK: Survival Ascended includes access to all of ARK’s worlds, including Scorched Earth, Aberration, Extinction, ARK Genesis Part 1, ARK Genesis Part 2, and more. The Island is released now, with the subsequent expansion worlds to be added at no additional cost on a regular basis."

You sure about that? Nobody actually owns any ARK Survival Ascended DLCs. My understanding is all the ones mentioned on the steam page under Early Access will be available. I assumed free, but it is possible there will be a charge for the ones that there had been previously been a charge. There is no mention that if you paid for an ASE DLC, then you get the ASA one free.

ASE has nothing to do with ASA in these regards. You purchase ASA you get all the dlcs at no additional cost (thats going to be 12 at least). It clearly says so on the ASA store page as I quoted directly from above.
