Silica Pearls in Underwater Caves Error?

When I try to harvest Silica Pearls in Underwater Caves (not Underwater Artifact Caves), I seem to only pick up fiber. Any other pearl location in the ocean and other places seem to work just fine. Anyone know if this might be because the game reads the model as a pearl clam, but the harvest point as a bush? Or might there be another reason I'm overlooking?

I'd love to know if anyone else is experiencing this or if it's just me?

Experiencing the same issue. I went into two underwater caves and no dice. I gave up, tamed an icthy and then tamed an angler to harvest the pearls around the herbivore island in the south east.

You need to collect all fibers around first to collect the pearls. Annoying.

Oh good to know! I sat there for a few minutes harvesting the fiber and nothing happened. I'll have to go in with a sickle and see what happens.

I bring a sickle, clear it out, then farm. The hitboxes are them are atrocious. Some you have to stand like 2-3 feet away to get.

Thanks! solve my problem! A good sickle is a must to harvest these, have to clear the whole land to get pearls
