Xbox Controller - Whistle Follow One upon deselecting structure placement

Seems I stumbled across a bug with the controller, where every time I cancel a new structure placement (B button), it immediately whistles Follow One if I'm looking at a tame. This also seems to occur when just mashing the B button rapidly. (open/close inventory)

Anyone have this too or found a fix? Using a keyboard seems to be fine.

Yes. It's fricken annoying. Seems for a game intended to be cross-platform, It's not very controller friendly.

This is driving me insane as it keeps whistling dinos i have sitting above trap doors so the eggs fall down. it takes me forever to line them back up

Off topic, ik, but has anyone here had any success with any dino commands when actually attempting to try and use them? For example, using LB+up for “attack my target” or “attack this target.”

If so/if not, which ones have shortcuts/ controller keybindings that function? Thanks!

I too was having issues while using my controller with whistle commands. I was hoping there was some way to change the controller key binds like in normal ark but it seems that the settings for the controller are set. I hope this will be something that wild card or whoever sees and it gets patched! I have never been a fan of keyboard use compared to my history with controller use lol
