Not too sure but weren't they scorched earth items? dlc items will be re-introduced with their respective dlcs.

Pumps scorched earth item. So not not in yet. But can find oil in oceans. Though hard to see underwater for me.

SE is gonna look crazy I bet when its done. Hopefully with full Ascension zone like The Island and complete story too this time.

you can find quite a bit of surface oil (rocks) in the north of the map

Been hinting for pearls and oil.. went to west coast by ice area. Used to be lot of pearls and oil. I searched almost whole west coast and found no oil or pearls. Even turned off fog incase was hiding it. So now Im not sure where to look. I live on southern coast so north way too far for now.
