generator range booster
They need to add back wires or make the range way bigger for generators. this effectively kills mid game with a decent sized base or creates gaps in your electrical grid where you might want to place something like in my case . They need to add a transformer or something that has its own bubble and when placed in a bubble of a generator its own bubble now is a electrical connection

EDIT:
So apparently you can't even chain together generators to increase the range because in the infinity wisdom of overpaid scammers they decided to put a generator limit per a LARGE area

It seems that the Generator limit only counts for industrial generators.

The TEK-Generator has no placement limit and it has at least triple the range.

This setting was probably to make TEK-Generators relevant since their wireless gimmick is now the norm.

Not true, you don't need a big base to breed creatures.
If you are breeding dodos then yes. Breeding big dinos needs a huge base

Ya one breeding pair wont cut it I agree. But depends on persons view on size though. Some think a 20 x 20 foundation base is big. I see that as a chicken coop lol My base offline was over 90 x 250 and if recall had 5 floors ABOVE water. And 3 levels below it :-) 150 is actually a lot I think. But can see 25? But more you have the easier it does become to get what you want. I raised many different animals in the real world. And I have to admit the more breeding pairs I had the better lines I could breed. And im sure in some way its same in game.

Though I did know guy who did really good breeding and once got his main lines he culled most till had like 10 or so breeding pairs in stead of the... "just a guess never counted.." 100 pairs he had before. And he still got very good out comes. So I dont know maybe can do ok with small bases and breeding. But I will agree larger the base for breeding pairs the better.
ours is like 45x60 and generators cannot cover it all

well not everyone can get a tek generator fast so i guess we just get punished then?

A TEK-Generator when placed right in the middle of a large building accounts for 10+ industrial ones if you factor in hights. They could have been a bit more lenient with the limit.

They may change it if enough people complain, because this has nothing to do with server performance or similar things.

Hello.
There is 2 options that exist to set on game.ini :
LimitGeneratorsNum=3 -> default value is 3. Set the number limit of generator in a given area.
LimitGeneratorsRange=15000 -> default value is 15000. The number is given in centimeter and one foundation is 300 so it means 50 foundation. This gives the size of the area for the previous option

Setting the first option (LimitGeneratorsNum= to 0 mean to deactivate the limit of number of generator that can be placed.

Yeah, that's got to be wrong. Default range is maybe 10 Foundations, yet that post says 50

They don't need wire's

Better solution would be a power transformer, that works like the wells for water.

Ie they work like a battery that charges up from a generator or another transformer, and provide power to anything in range.

Like a goober i saw the tip for LimitGeneratorsRange (thinking it was the range of Each generator ..).. so i set that to 100000 .. yeah reading the whole tip is much smarter than guessing as you go .. hehe

**ps if you skipped all the relevant posts that is the setting to check if generators are in range for calculating the max in range... not to extend the range of power.

I think part of the reason for the change was server performance. It made a lot of extra stuff for the servers to keep track of even if they weren't visible. If they add a power range extender item, I think the current system would work better. Although, I also do agree it might break immersion some not having pipes and wires to run your items.

I use this mod too, it should be added to base game.

Basically acts like wells but for power
