Report a translation problem
The TEK-Generator has no placement limit and it has at least triple the range.
This setting was probably to make TEK-Generators relevant since their wireless gimmick is now the norm.
They may change it if enough people complain, because this has nothing to do with server performance or similar things.
They don't need wire's
Better solution would be a power transformer, that works like the wells for water.
Ie they work like a battery that charges up from a generator or another transformer, and provide power to anything in range.
Put that in Game.ini & get sorted on power 👍

Wires yes... But the thing with pipes is awesome in ASA
Like a goober i saw the tip for LimitGeneratorsRange (thinking it was the range of Each generator ..).. so i set that to 100000 .. yeah reading the whole tip is much smarter than guessing as you go .. hehe
**ps if you skipped all the relevant posts that is the setting to check if generators are in range for calculating the max in range... not to extend the range of power.
They just need to fix the game and put the wires and pipes back in. This is bs removing them, all they needed to do was fix the lengths to match the other pieces. Water should not be magically transported thru thin air.
I think part of the reason for the change was server performance. It made a lot of extra stuff for the servers to keep track of even if they weren't visible. If they add a power range extender item, I think the current system would work better. Although, I also do agree it might break immersion some not having pipes and wires to run your items.
I use this mod too, it should be added to base game.
