generator range booster
They need to add back wires or make the range way bigger for generators. this effectively kills mid game with a decent sized base or creates gaps in your electrical grid where you might want to place something like in my case . They need to add a transformer or something that has its own bubble and when placed in a bubble of a generator its own bubble now is a electrical connection

EDIT:
So apparently you can't even chain together generators to increase the range because in the infinity wisdom of overpaid scammers they decided to put a generator limit per a LARGE area

Okay link me the source when they said that lagging and crashing because of rendering big bases are a nitrado issue, because I'm pretty sure I saw that even on ASE, even on non-Nitrado servers.
Can't link a discord announcement and no one has bases big enough yet to crash a server at the rates we are seeing currently

Hello.
There is 2 options that exist to set on game.ini :
LimitGeneratorsNum=3 -> default value is 3. Set the number limit of generator in a given area.
LimitGeneratorsRange=15000 -> default value is 15000. The number is given in centimeter and one foundation is 300 so it means 50 foundation. This gives the size of the area for the previous option

Setting the first option (LimitGeneratorsNum= to 0 mean to deactivate the limit of number of generator that can be placed.

HUH ?

You asked if there was a mod to do just that extend the range, i find you one and you say nope.... If its out for SP in the mods list its out for Hosted Nitrado servers also. Mods are not supported on official servers.... i don't get yer issue.

Well it was a huge problem in ASE. Most likely it is in ASA at the moment with the servers already crashing at the drop of a hat. Possibly once the servers are optimized and not crashing, they will allow more generators.

So what do you think is in many of those huge bases? Some will have hundreds of the same thing crafting away stuff to generate XP. Others will have enough tames to reach the tame limit. If people could be reasonable, they could have big bases, but many are not.
for XP is used Grinder
and reason for lot of tames is breeding.
you need to have somewhere all females what you breed with that one male to get mutations...

These are default settings:
LimitGeneratorsNum=3 (Max number of generators in range defined by the "Range of Generators Limit" setting)
LimitGeneratorsRange=15000 (The radius, in centimeters, that cannot have more generators than defined by the "Maximum Generators In Range" setting.

Setting LimitGeneratorsNum=0 lets you place as many as you want.

I Usually always have two generators for my base... one main, and one for back up... but now they will not allow multiple generators in the same area????? But they still have the switch on the generators that allows the generator to turn in when no power is active???
How come we cant place multiple generators????

Big bases needs to stop. Period. It causes massive stability issues, trapping spawn points, blocking caves,notes, and drops, enables pillar spamming and blocking resources. People need to play the game properly, with small to medium bases, and stop making gigantic mega structures and stop mass collecting animals like some sort of fcked up Pokemon game.

If I would be a dev, I would def limit the amount of structure a player can have, maybe depending on the tribe's size. Also limit the amount of dinos you can tame maybe you could have 20 herbivore, 20 carnivore, it should be more than enough.

Lastly, it's funny that everyone always complains that the game trailers are not accurate while no one even try to play the game as the devs intended in the trailers.
yeah but in pvp you can lose "an absurd amount of tames" or a "massive base" overnight from some no life mega clan who only spend time making explosives and cloning soakers and meks
