A couple of times just before the sun sets I've seen pairs of queens flying low along the ground through the swamp outside of redwoods. If you wear ghillie and bug repellent you might catch one to stuff some rare flowers in their butts.

I like to use an argy to find the hives in redwoods, send in a dimorphodon to break the hive, then try to bait the queen into a wooden cage using some honey. If you don't have any honey you can use a crossbow and a grappling hook to get close enough to hives to collect 5, should be enough for baiting the queen bee. Put them on hotbar in stacks of ONE, then press button to toss honey to lure, everything loves honey in ARK so wild dinos will compete with the queen bee to get it, so it's a good idea to clear the area out in advance so there is less interference.
