no wyvern??

why is in the new ark no wyvern? if been looking everywhere but cant find them. the old ark got wyvern.

The Island never had wyverns. You will have to wait until a map with wyverns is dropped. Just like all the other dinos that were never native to The Island.

Wyverns in Vanilla gameplay were Scorched Earth map only at the time.
Scorched Earth has not been released yet as they are still working on those maps to bring them up to date in Unreal Engine 5.
So unless someone creates a mod in this new game, we will just have to wait.

You can look until your eyes fall out but you will never find them on The Island. Maybe hunt through the mods, as additional creatures for The Island appear in mods a lot, such as Gryphons, Snow Owls, etc.

Wyverns wont come into the game until Scorched Earth, so you have to wait. If you play Singleplayer I think you can spawn them in.

I can honestly say I haven't been able to spawn them in yet it says they are not allowed on the map

Haven't tried in a couple weeks or so, but for Ascended I had to put this in to get them to spawn, with all the patches who knows if it still works.

if you want them on the map without spawning them in yourself use the Draconic Chronicles mod it adds all the usual wyverns plus new ones and new structures that look cool

Get MODS. I have 31 mods on my server and you can have almost anything you want.

its not really new. The developer just took down the old servers and made you buy the game to play on an "upgraded engine" You may notice that all the old issues remain.
