How To double your FPS
Just thought I'd help out with peoples frames by this Discussion, use this command r.VolumetricCloud 0 it removes the clouds, you'll be looking at double the frames, and you can use

r.Streaming.PoolSize 0 (unlocks ur whole gpu memory)

r.Nanite.MaxPixelsPerEdge 4 (reduces triangles for nanite meshes)

r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.RadianceCache.ProbeResolution 16 (optimizes lumen)

r.DynamicGlobalIlluminationMethod 2 (disables Lumen)

r.VolumetricCloud 0 (disables volumetric sky)

r.ShadowQuality 0 (disables all shadows)

these will help with frames but beleive me, removing the clouds is a frame changer, good luck peeps, also I have 7900XTX 7800X3D cpu and ddr5 6600mhz ram and i get about 90-100 frames on medium-high and when i just remove the clouds i get 115, I've also said the same to tribemates who have alot worse cards and its doubled their frames, hope this helps!

There is a new setting that boosted my FPS by 15 its in the bottom right of video its called disable HLOD enable it. Im not sure what it does but its worth it

Add the grass removal one. That helps a lot though does make ground look sparse and little ugly :-(

i used:

r.VolumetricCloud 0
r.Streaming.PoolSize 0
r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.RadianceCache.ProbeResolution 16
grass.sizeScale 0.7
grass.densityScale 2

Do these settings persist between game launches?
no, but game remembers them so dont need paste them back in. just scroll
NJ-X Nov 3, 2023 @ 9:52pm
how to reset these setting if i dont want it anymore?
Night (939) Nov 3, 2023 @ 9:53pm
The command settings get reverted if you re-launch the game if you can't remember the original values.

Removing the clouds alone jumps you 100 frames you said.... im going to call bs on that, i run a nearly identical setup and removing the clouds jumps me about 8 frames

4090 still a best option to increase fps

Clouds are at best a 25% fps increase for me, but yeah it helps. Shame they look so good. My card is barely able to run it (2060) so maybe it means less at the bottom.

low settings and disable all extras works fine and still looks very nice. they should add sliders in the video section for these things.

Unless you don't want to pay $1,300 for clouds in an $40 game which is a graphical reskin of a game from 10 years ago.

I remember there were ways to apply these commands via a .ini so it always does it for you.
I can't get it working yet though.
