is a 4090 and top cpu the only things that can run this game somewhat well with maxed settings?
title

From benchmark videos I've seen, seems like the top of line cpu's and 4090 is the only combo rig that going run this game with maxed settings + RT well enough (still fluctuating from 50-80s). I get frame gen is ofc doing the heavy lifting.

Curious how much optimization is really going to be done given pc optimization is after thought of current year.

r7 5800x3d and a rtx3060, 32Gb of memory, and run this game at 40 to 60 fps with everything on high, so for me it runs well enough...

im running it fine on my mid range people just wanna be whiney lil piss babies
are they tho? or is this game just really heavy since its UE5 and and UE games already are known to have performance issues.

4080 with 13700k, so not a top of the line GPU or CPU here and it's fine.
Yeah it's only like the second or third best on the market currently so basically trash

yea they want all at max all the time, all the while the game looks so much better then the old game EVEN on all low (i do not say you have to play at low, but common don't be that guy who wants all at ultra max)
I have a RTX 4080 and the game crashes 2min or less of game play. 100+ fps on max settings looks nice.

100+? Your smoking something
I notice nobody is running ultra wide monitors. I have an AMD 5800 X3d Processor, an RTX 4080 Founders Edition and 32 gigs of 3200 viper ram. I am running on an Asus 3440x1440 monitor though which from what I can tell is about equivalent to running at 2k instead of 4k. Wondering how it might run on something like this...

People really got these 2 4 and whatever K displays and wonder why their computer is having such a hard time playing high graphical games on it.

Im still rocking 1080p man, them fancy Displays are still expensive AF for me lol
Game still looks amazing and runs smooth for me
32GB DDR5 mems, 12700KF I7 processor 3080TI gpu all on M.2 drive for that speed.

And I used Geforce Experience's Optimization profile too, which set it just right. Looks amazing and runs smooth.

With maxed settings? Probably. At all? No. Not sure about AMD 7XXX - series performance, like 7900XT/XTX.
I'm running a brand new i7-13700k 32gb DDR5 AMD 7900XT OC and it runs smooth as silk with everything on ULTRA

My girlfriend is running i7-4770K 16gb GTX 1060 6gb ... her machine isn't even close to the minimum specs, and she's playing just fine. It doesn't look amazing, but she's having a great time.

if you want or insist in 4k playing, then yea probably.
i'd give my, *ehm* GF away to get that.

That your way of saying "hand"?:steammocking:
Doesn't even matter if you are running max settings or not, the game looks great at medium and above. Lots of cards can run the medium settings. Also medium looks better than maxed out ASE.

How about we give clear definitions of "runs great", "runs smooth as silk", "playing just fine", by providing resolutions and FPS. So we dont mislead people with this kind of vague statements.

I agree. The "its fine for me" people need to full state their specs.
Resolution, Hertz, GPU/CPU. Ram, Game settings and OC or not.
got a ryzen 5 and a 4070 ti and it runs fine on high graphics. You need to turn off the AI assist though or you get constant crashed. I think its called DLSS or something
Ryzen 5 5600x and RX 7900 XT epic settings 1440p 40-50fps ...

So much for "top of the line" Hardware...
