Higher level Dinos?
Has anyone on Single player been able to get higher level Dinos than 150? I have tried doing
OverRideOfficialDiffulculty=5 to get level 300 Dinos but its just not working. Ive tried placing it above and below the DifficultyOffset=1.

Nothing seems to change the dinos from level 150

in the GameUserSettings.ini file, gives you max level 150s.

First, in the Game.ini file you need to make sure bUseSinglePlayerSettings is set to false and MaxDifficulty is set to false.

For me, the only ways I've been able to get my minimum levels out of the single digits is:

DifficultyOffset=5
OverrideOfficialDifficulty=6

With my settings this way I did see a level 240 Rex. Though, I've seen different people saying settings worked for them while the same settings didn't work for others. So, I think it's hit or miss. I'm still testing different numbers.

But, I think the important thing, for people playing Single Player, is the settings in the Game.ini file.

Override difficulty needs to be set at 10 for level 300 to show.
OverrideOfficialDifficulty=10.0 but I havent seen any high level yet

Maximum Creature Level / Loot Scale / Override Official Difficulty / Difficulty Offset
15 50.00% 0.5 0.01
30 100.00% 1 0.1428
45 150.00% 1.5 0.2857
60 200.00% 2 0.4285
75 250.00% 2.5 0.5714
90 300.00% 3 0.7142
105 350.00% 3.5 0.8571
120 400.00% 4 1.0
150 500.00% 5 1.2857
180 600.00% 6 1.5714
210 700.00% 7 1.8571
240 800.00% 8 2.1428
270 900.00% 9 2.4285
300 1000.00% 10 2.7142

so 5 would be level 150 dinos as you set it. you have to destroywilddinos command after change for it to take effect or wait a long time for things to die and respawn

Ah, I actually have Busesingleplayersettings set to true, I wonder if that is why I am not seeing level 300 dinos with 10 overridediffuculty. Thanks i will make the changes and see what happens.

From my testing, ASE mechanics don't seem to be working exactly the same way in ASA. With my game, Set to DO=1 and OOD=5 there was no change at all in levels. I even tried DO=5 and OOD=5, still didn't up the levels. It was only when I change DO=5 and OOD=6 that I finally got higher level dinos spawning.

AGAIN this is in Single Player. And you need to remember to change SinglePlayer to false and MaxDiffliculty to false in the Game.ini file
That was the issue, Soon as i turned off the two settings, and set OD=1 and OOD=10 i now have a 290 Uty that i just saw, Thank you. It was the singleplayer setting that was doing it.
hmm maybe Max difficulty is clamping me .. let me try athat .. thanks Raggedy Annie
yup that was it for me .. got level 300 now
The Island:

for dino max level 600 (rare is beginners map The Island)

MaxDifficulty=false (game.ini)
DifficultyOffset=2.7142
OverrideOfficialDifficulty=20 (x30 = 600)

Other maps:

Wyvern, Rock Drake x38 = 760

Agressive Crystal Wyverns on Crystal Isles (Wyvern Mountain) x45 = 900

Tek:

x36 = 720
