Baby dinos sometimes are seen with parents. Can blast the parents and steal the babies.
Some of the menus are better, the map is wayyy better. Also they show your last death location on your screen. But that one can be hit or miss because if you die a bunch you no longer see it . Not like ASE where you see all the beams.
Load times are better than before, servers take a few seconds to launch.
Things I can think off the top of my head.
Water reservoires, generators and such now work without pipes and wires. They have a certain range in which they supply taps and machines. My favorite feature however is wild dinos can now have babies which you can claim after getting rid of their parents.
meshing, olde bug with xbow / longneck what dont register ammo in inventory (reload bug) and so on
and there are even new bugs
but there is few QoL changes

Another is that you can track your dinos continuously. Not just when being tamed. You can also track what it takes to craft an item. It will show you in a little pop up when you have all the items you need.
I'm loving the fast load time. I'm guessing that will get slower as they add more maps, but I still think it will remain quicker than ASE.
The integration of some of the S+ features, like picking up pieces is nice. You can also pick up foundations and all the pieces that normally would be destroyed when you do that are also picked up automatically. This is really cool, especially for traps that you want to pick up quickly.
First day ASA was released, I tried Single Player (since not many unofficial server). Tried several times, but always crashed. Tried again yesterday, worked fine other than one hang when initially creating my character. In between my first attempt and now, I tuned my graphic settings to increase FPS, but not increase it too high. Trick seems to be to get good FPS by lowering settings and disabling some features.
So it does work for most people (50k people playing right now). There are many posts about how to change your graphic settings to prevent crashing. Have you tried that?
This crashes, all the time.
Otherwise, I haven't found many bugs yet. The very few I have are just minor annoyances. Although, I will freely admit that some bugs I wouldn't ever notice. I only play either single player or with a few friends in one tribe. So any bugs that would be like meshing or something like I probably won't ever see or notice.
Overall, I do feel like ASA is an improvement over ASE; however, they do still have a lot of work to make it more stable and to add all the existing content from ASE back into ASA. I am really looking forward to several of the maps being added into ASA.
Have fun with ASA or ASE everyone!
