cant disable snapping
if i am trying to place a structure it will always be snapped, i cant change the direction nor cant i disable snapping, down left where it normaly should show a key bind it just shows a long text thats to pixeld to read. thats realy annoying

on my xbox controller i hold RB to disable snapping

i am on keyboard and literally pressed every keyboard key and nothing worked

Q does not work, i looked in the keybind file and there it is binded to Q but ingame it wont work

Just tried it, and I think you have to hold the key for a second before it toggles off snapping.

Hold Q for like 3 seconds to disable snapping. If that doesn't work, it's bugged.

Under Key Binds (keyboard) select "Toggle Fists / Fast Inventory (hold)" and set to Q. this fixed the issues for me.

Wait, like for REAL for real??
Hold it every time while moving the cursor, or hold it for a few to toggle snapping? I've been searching the globe for this since day one.

Read the screen what does it tell you? R switches to the different variants of say a wall piece and Q by default 100% is suppose to turn off snapping. If you remapped anything that could be an issue for you.
