Raising and lowering foundations.....

I can lower the foundations however due to the uneven terrain it will not work all the way through a build. Using a full foundation is not working because the animals fall thru the floor and I have to disassemble the build to get them out of the floor. Does anyone know of a way to raise a foundation half way? thanks!

I saw a video where they were raising and lowering the first foundation placed to get it to the right height. I guess that is now a feature in ASA, although I've no idea how they did it. Maybe there is a guide or wiki on it by now?

So far none of my dinos have fallen through the floor, but I keep them all on the 2nd floor, so they are actually standing on ceilings which seem to work well. I do keep a ceiling or roof over them when I log off. This protects them from argents, but also the bug where they float up into the sky. I've found a few up against the ceiling, but eventually they come back to the floor.

My theory (not sure how to prove it) is that they float way up into the sky when you are logged off. When you log in they come crashing down and can then go through the ground and under the map.
