Not sure why, but i just played 10 hours straight and the only issue i had was the cursor thing that gets stuck, just gotta open the whistle radial to fix it.
ASE still to this day has some years long bugs never addressed, its just ARKiness.
On single player I'm getting crashes (Unhandled Access Exception mostly, sometimes also LowLevelFatalError) every 5 - 30 mins, there are many others reporting that the game is terribly and consistently unstable. Not regular Arkiness, or regular EAness. Definitely quite bad.
I do trust the (engineering) team and don't regret investing in this project but hand waving how bad the experience is for most people isn't it fam.
The way I think of it is, they will fix the worst of it, and there's zero chance I'm not playing this game for a thousand hours, so I don't mind giving them the money now so they can keep making the game.

The gtx 1660 ti mobile is 16% weaker then the Desktop version, and the Desktop version is 26% weaker then the minimum requirement....
Is the Game installed on the SSD?
Best I can say is to update your drivers and do a full power down and start up. But that's just stranded advice.
I'm about to try that. Yea min graphics card is 1080 so I am definitely in that safe zone
You could try using Geforce Experience to optimise the game pre-launch and just put everything to the lowest settings and then launch from then, Otherwise the game will attempt to launch in default settings which is too much Vram for your GPU
Idk where you are coming up with these numbers, but I've never had issues with it and I ran hogwarts legacy, lords of the fallen and a bunch of other newer games with not a single problem
