Water pipes?

I am trying to run water to a base but can not find the horizontal etc... pipes. There is only one to put in the water and nothing else is offered. Any ideas? thanks!

You don't need to build a line of pipes anymore. The intake pipe works on a radius now. So just build a tap or tank in the radius and it'll just werk.

can the distance be increased any say if up on a cliff and water below?

Yes. Water tanks extend the size of coverage, so long as the are inside the coverage of the original intake.

they changed the pipe system, now you only need 2.

They made water and power both easy to work with, but they forgot to add in using torches in the offhand, how can you see in the dark and protect yourself with a good spear or sword?

You can attach torches to your shoulder though.

I guess i missed that one, beaten all of ASE with a blank offhand slot from the island to gen2 using a pack of dino's and an cryopod with my first featherlight that someone gave me, liked the featherlights so much that i made a featherlight farm.

ahh right, so until you're able to start pumping out cementing paste your up the creek without a paddle then, screwed is a nice way of saying it. why would they require water tanks? why not make the taps interconnected? ridiculous decision if you ask me.

By the time you need a water system you already should be making cementing paste.
