Metal Not Respawning in Single Player (Legacy Bug?)

I harvested the metal on top of Herbivore Island (South Haven) and it appears to not be respawning. This was in-game weeks ago now. All of the other material and plant life is regrowing but the metal is gone-gone.

After a bit of research I found threads from YEARS ago saying this was a bug in single player and saving the game during a time when the resources are harvested, can cause them never to respawn.

Anyone else getting this? Is there a way to force the respawning of the map without restarting? Am I fighting a losing battle here? Will I be on stone tools and weapons forever? Will I never be able to ride the big lizard?

Metal didn't respawn for me and its been many days in game. This is a fkn joke!

I do not know if savegame function is involved, but in SP metal, crystals and oxydian are not respawning for me.

I'm also adding some rocks to that list as well. Some rocks are respawning, others are not.
By that I mean pebbles on the beach are coming back, but there are huge swaths of land where large rocks are not respawning.

It's been 20 in-game days since I destroyed the metal and rocks on Herbivore Island and they still haven't come back.

I've no structures there to interfere and I only return to check if they're back so it's not like they're being blocked by player or structures.

Ah yes, the "remake" that has the same bugs that plagued the original ARK. This really is sad. I kinda figured it would be a shtshow so I waited to see players responses. Guess I will come back when its actually fixed, meanwhile there is tons more content on ASE.

Thanks for the suggestion but I've already turned it down a bit and still nothing.
Could be I need to drop it down a bit further. Shame - I really didn't want to make things too easy, but needs must!

I did set it to zero. Only vegetation and rocks did respawn immediately after I turned around. Metal, crystal, oxydian and even oil, still missing after a very, very long time, so long that I really doubt they will ever be seen again on my map.

Check no respawn structure and no respawn players, and put them on 0.1

metal does respawn for me on sp. but only if i am near it. metal that i harvested far away wont resoawn. seems to be an issue with unloaded chunks.
