Foliage and water not working

Not sure anyone has seen this. For the last few days performance has improved somewhat but I can't interact with the foliage or water anymore. I checked foliage is turned on and moved the sliders up halfway. I tried turning off then on again. I tried starting a new ark. Verified the files. Can't seem to see what's preventing this now except maybe patched out while they work on performance but if others aren't seeing this then I know I need to dig further for myself. Might see what I can find regards console commands to turn it on.

While I welcome the improvement in performance, part of the appeal was the moving foliage. I can live with it for now while major bugs are squashed. So far shaping up to be a good upgrade from ase but then I don't have to worry about server issues as single player only. Any ideas appreciated.

Turns out any mods I ran stopped it working. No mods for now!

yes I know necro for all you forum police, but it was the only post I found for this

@mervin, I had the same thing turned on wasn't working, found the 'keep inventory upon death' mod was the one causing the problem. Works fine with my other 5 mods;Utilities Plus, Klinger addittional Boats, Big storage box, Cryopods (by pelayori), teleporters (by seaofblood...). So I checked each mod to see what caused the folage/water to not work and that's the one for my game. Hope that helps.
