Paint/Dye Not working ?

{Sorry if this has been answered i did have a small search }

I'm having trouble dyeing armours no colours seem to work except white ? i guessing its me doing it wrong or its not working . If anyone could please shed some light on this .
plus all i can find online is ASE stuff .

I've painted my Hide-Armor (Black & Red)

[Dark Horizon]

There's a new feature added to the game called (Auto Craft).
this feature is automatically enabled which it automatically create the dye for you.
To turn this feature off, go to you're cooking pot click on it and just above (Light Fire) there should be option for (Disable auto craft) click that and it should stop making white Dye and you will free to make whatever dyes you want.

I seem to have an issue only with the white paint, every other colour I've tried seems to work but the white does not. I've mainly been using paint brush on building parts to test this.

When you do the armour are you using the cosmetic menu? if you click on inventory then the cosmetic tab things like tools and armour can be painted there.

disabled auto craft when you're on the cooking pot.

White dye works fine.
It's just that everything's default color is "White".
It's essentially the same as using Soap for most things.

I found that if you spawned the dye using admin commands it doesnt work, but if you craft it it does idk why
