World temperate is too high all the time

I get it, im in a swampier area, it is not 52C indoors. Thats like 125f, it is NOT 125f right now. I cant do anything because im dying of heat stroke, cant leave because ill die before i escape the pre-heating oven temperatures and all my stuff is still here, cant stay because even indoors im dying of heat stroke. Cant tame a mount that reduces temperature because i just started so i dont have the capacity to do that, not to mention, again, dying of heat stroke.

Ive had to dump basically all of my points into fortitude to try and survive, but no, too hot still.

Is there a console command that can lower the max world temp by a few degrees or something? because i cant stop dying due to the heat.

you can change the settings in the Main Menu, where you start your game.

Where, I checked every setting and couldnt find it. Under what section, I dont think i couldve missed it at this point but its always possible. I checked both games rules and advanced settings.

ofc you can't change the temps ingame, but you can change how many points you have to dump into fortitude

ah. I did see that. I was hoping to avoid doing that, because i wanted cold to still be an issue for the arctic area. I didnt want to nullify the temperature system all together by having a crazy amount of fortitude, i just wanted to not die of heat stroke in a region labeled as "easy"

Alright, i turned up the points you get in fortitude to be 10 fortitude each level, and its STILL to high. I have 100 fortitude and still overheat or freeze in the southeast region.

100 Fortitude is 50 LEVELS of points normally. You mean to tell me i have to be higher than level 50 and have spent all those levels in fortitude just to survive in an EASY region?

This game sometimes...

Not to mention, i said both freeze and overheat. The temperature changes here rapidly. It was like -1.4C one night. Apparently on ark the temperature can change over a hundred degrees F over the course of a few days? No way, its like they wanted to add seasons to the game but decided they should happen in a few days instead of over the course of a year.

I have noticed that it seems Fortitude is broken. I have mostly ascendant cloth for south of the swamp in South Paw and during the day, it hits 135 degrees F. Once I had ascendant cloth, I could deal. I have 40 points in Fortitude and if I don't wear that cloth, I will get heatstroke.

a year later. in my single player. I have 1200 fortitude and I just died from heat stroke :D

34 Fortitude ... not modded ... still get Hot, but only burns through Food
Food and Water ... Heat makes you Burn through your Food, bring plenty of Food and Water

Clothing...
Naked ... still hot
Cloth ... warm
Ghillie ... cooling

Swimming... Extremely Cooling
Baryonyx... grab one, and go for a swim, get Fish for your Tames and Troughs
Akylo... grab an Anky and go in the shallows, breaking Rocks for Metal

Fast Travel...
Arctic... make a Base in the Arctic Ice Flows, and visit it via Fast Travel on a Bed, when it gets Hot. Have Argentavis, and Fur Clothing there, along with Food, and some Anky's for collecting Oil and Metal.

Taming...
Make a Taming Raft, with Air Conditioning and Tame some Dino's in it
Fly an Argentavis, grab and Tame some Dimetrodon's in your Taming Raft, to keep you cool when working
Otter... Tame an Otter, and wear it, to keep Cool

Building...
Do some Base Building, with the Air Conditioner running
Make some Custom Recipes, allocating all your Points into your Cooking

Really wish there was an option to reduce temp extremes. Extremely dislike the you are hot you are cold you are hot you are cold in games. Do not understand how anyone thinks that is fun.
