Getting kicked back to the menu when joining a server

I'm curious, is anybody else having this problem? When I go to connect to a server it will put me on the loading screen for a min or two and then kick me back to the menu with a message saying "lost/timedout connection to host". Then the next time I click join it will always instantly kick me to menu with no loading screen. What's stranger is that in the server list the pings are >100 but if i'm able to join and open the menu in game it will say the actual ping is like 40 and I have no problem staying connected. Not sure if there's something my end causing this, any ideas?

sometimes i have to join 4 times before i get on the server.

Same. Launch game, click Join, flash of server list before being kicked back to main screen. How do we report this kind of thing as bug to developers? I'd gladly put in the work of reporting all details, config files, etc.

Got this problem too, it works for me if someone kills my character on the server, then I can join again, but its pretty annoying and I need to have always someone on the server to kill me.

Was there ever a resolution for this? I played for two weeks and then all of a sudden i get this if the game will even launch, i have to go into the files and launch as admin before i can even get into the game. THen i have the same issue when clicking join game.

Did you ever find a more permanent fix this is now happening to me as well and killing the player works but it keeps kicking me more and more
