Bred otters falling through structures and terrain to water level on ASA
When I tame an existing otter, they function as they should when thrown.

If I breed a new otter it comes out of the mother like normal. It doesn't fall through the structure/terrain. I imprint, feed it, let it mature. Once matured, I pick them up on my shoulder. But when I try to throw the bred otters from my shoulder, they fall through everything, straight to water level. Any ideas why this is happening or what I could do for a fix?

I used to breed otters on ASE all the time, and this never happened.

Had the same issue with pegos. Must be all shoulder pets having this issue atm. Logging off with the broken critter on my shoulders fixed them, so far permanently.

Ooo, thank you for that fix. I tried it out just now, but it didn't seem to work. I am on a private server with others, not solo, so maybe a server reset is the trick.

it's happening in SP with any small throwable dino, any offspring do this, tames don't.

Yeah, I'm in single player and had to completely quit, so maybe a server reboot would help. I'm looking forward to the Dino Storage mod just for cases like this. Both to retrieve the errant critter and to hopefully reset them to fix bugs like this.

Server reset does indeed fix the otter behavior. But new offspring still have the issue.

Good to know, will have to build an otter pen over the boat house I guess. If I can ever find a damn otter anyway. Is it just me or are they ridiculously rare spawns?
