I wonder if it has to do with the console release, and if they can't use steam workshop because it isn't compatible with console players? I'm just speculating i don't know for sure

because it's garbage. it literally doesn't even let you sort properly, it doesn't detect updates, sometimes it will update but leave the old files instead.

i just updated all mine, had all of garugas (they all received updates today) and one of the engram mods, had to manually download and update a couple but that was it

Because they want the crossover ark players on consoles to be able to use the mods too.

If PC players have a different database to install mods from, then there will be issues of mismatched versions galore on the crossover ark servers.

Yeah I can't install any mods either, even after verifying the files integrity twice. Starts to install, then stops and does nothing after 3-4 seconds.

I had this issue yesturday. I exited to main menu and went back to mods about 3 or 4 times.. then it finally worked. Not sure what was going on.

just try again, again and again ... for each mod, it took me 5-10 trys till the install worked... be patient guys ;)

i have been unable to find a fix to this issue myself. i have tried several things such as..
i have uninstalled reinstalled, deleted the mod folder, logged in and out of steam, i have verified the game files, i have given pro-mission to steam to download while playing a game, disabled my anti-virus programs.
Nothing has worked so far. Send Help.... Cant even log into a server with other people due to the mod or mods being on said servers to actually play this game with friends....

I solved the problem. Ark Ascended does not work with Microsoft Onedrive, I uninstalled Onedrive and then my Ark was fixed. I can install and update mods now.
