How do you make Fuel?

Pretty new too ARK, Never played it before until recently.. one thing i cant understand is how to make fuel, I am lvl 30 right now playing solo so i can get grips on the game until i play online and this is the last part i need help with is how to cook food XD.

Fuel as in gasoline? Put hide and oil into the forge and wait. Cooking food, just stick raw meat into a camp fire, fireplace or cooker.

Fuel is wood, thatch, sparkpowder, angler gel for campfire/fireplace. Fireplace was added in ASA as a cooking source, pretty sick! Sparkpowder is the best since it's easy to make and lasts much longer than wood. Wood is preferred for a while though because it makes Charcoal.

Industrial grill needs fuel; which as Nikki said, hide and oil in forge. Save some oil though; you'll need it later. I believe the indy grill can use wireless power as well which needs a generator (fuel for generator power).

Ok I see that makes since. I only have an hour total experience so im really new so appreciate the help, I have plenty of hide i just need to get oil now and build a forge.

there are little tips and tricks you will always be learning.. been here since the start and i still learn something after years
