he can just change teh setting in game too, this forum is full of crash threads from people who are messing with stuff they don't know how to mess with. some of teh settings have changed too and are in different places or have different nomenclature, a lot of the mating ones have different ranges too so old settings will be seen as default when out of range. there are a few differences but he's looking for the in-game setting

For anyone asking in the future just use the old are game.ini. This guy above is just to busy being a **** to actually mention facts. It causes no problems what so far. And the menu he speaks of is for singleplayer only or locally hosted servers. Not a dedicated server.

yeah use the old game.ini that's got a lot of different settings with different ranges. the ASA game ini from friday doesn't even work properly in ASA anymore, they've changed a LOT of stuff since launch, mostly the ranges on settings and it will still show up as the setting you changed it to, but it will default internally to 1 or whatever because anything outside that range technically isn't a setting. if you're gonna use a server you gotta know what you're doing and you don't, i'll see you later in your next thread about how you're crashing and you're gonna sue them though lol
