As someone said, it is much easier to fight a level 40 raptor on foot than a 150. However, you will very quickly find yourself no longer travelling on foot, and if you tame that 150 raptor(Something extremely easy with just a primitive bow and bolas), you'll easily be able to kill low level rexes, something I personally don't think should be so easily achievable.
One of Brightside's main points is to prevent absurd progression speed, keeping players with stone tools for longer, and with a smithy for longer before a fabricator and eventually tek replicator.
It should be a challenge to reach metal nodes and get back to base safely, at least at the beginning.
I didn't even watch the nooblet video, just my own server console:

Someone would have to *want* to do something with it still, but better safe than sorry.
Thx for pointing out how the inconsistency might be enough to still get them. I took down the original & made the bars wider.
and the cool thing about ARK is that you can set your game exactly like you want! It doesn't mean others don't like level 150 dinos on the island though. Popular opinion seems to be "If you're not playing my way, you're playing the wrong way"
You are going to get that high level raptor eventually anyway. And if all spawns are higher level then there will be less lower Rexes to take down and more higher level ones to have to deal with. It all works out to be the same, the difference is just how long it takes you to find the higher level. It just makes the game slower for no reason. I'd rather spend the time breeding and having fun with mutations than I would running all over the island for hours looking for a decent level dino
