Mod workshop is already in the game.
i agree, there should be a workshop, i know its in game already but its kinda better to look for mods when the game is not running, well atleast that's my view on it.

Not "workshop" actually. Just in game mod manager. Saying worksop makes people think of steam workshop.

I agree with you. In game version is ok but I prefer how steam workshop is set up better.
steam workshop is a buggy mess of a platform. think it all moved online/in-game due to the cross-platform stuff since a workshop for pc and other mod hosting sites for other platforms would be a mess. they've done this for other games and it works fine either way for PC but this way works best for console players and there are always more console players since the average person can't install a graphics card anymore

yea i can see why they moved it to "ingame" for consol, that however does not mean they should have taking it away for steam (PC) users, it generally does not matter from where a mod is installed, all that matters is that the mods are the same version.

but i can see, that could force the mod maker to post on two platforms... yea, still sad they don't have steam workshop though.

workshop has always been low-tier garbage. updates don't work right, can't even sort categories properly and it's never gonna change, been this way since day 1. that's why in games where people have an option of the workshop or anything else (skyrim) they'll take anything else.

we'll see how ASA's in-game shop acts when there are 5000 mods but teh steam workshop has never worked right
Have you not seen any of the Community Crunches, pre ASA, where they said mods would be hosted on Curseforge? You add mod IN THE GAME through the MODS tab.
