How tame babies?

Been following this one for bit now and cant feed it or claim it or anything. Any ideas? Its a turtle.

You can either tame the parent or kill the parent to imprint on the baby.

if you stay with it for more than 2 hours it'll instantly become your baby and then you can imprint and watch it grow. (hot tip) if you can get it to stay still and press x allowing you to prone it will speed up the timer allowing you to claim. may be a glitch but try using it. Bare in mind not all babies can be claimed, just like minecraft normal mode, when a villager gets infected there is only a 50% chance of it being cured. SO only 50% of babies can be claimed as they are the ones that choose if they would like to claimed by you. sometimes it is a game of chance, you get lucky or you dont. HAPPY TAMING

this is also a method. i find it difficult because i play on low sense. works best if you can get them down to 1 hp

Kill the parents and then you just claim them

2 hours when limited as need take turns with my kid is bit much. Lot easier to tame parent and get 2 dinos. Instead of sit for 2 hours and only get 1.
