Error : not enough space

I got an error when downloading the games (or an update) that tells me that I dont have enough space. Apparently i'm missing around 590MB of download. I have around 40GB of extra space... Does anyone has a fix ?

You need double the amount of the install. You need a minimum of 150GB free

Same problem, in fact I bought this game because I wanted to have a less space usage version (even if its bugged).

The solution is to uninstall - > install...

which is ridiculous, but it is what it is

Thats Steam, and Unreal Engine, and always was, nothing new....

I have the same problem, the only "resolution" I've found is to uninstall and reinstall.
That way it'll download the patch with the game so you don't need double the space but naturally redownloading and installing takes a lot more time than a 500mb patch downloading

also unninstalling and reinstalling 80gbs everytime because of how it works is very unhealthy for SSD's ...
