open command bar?

I tried pushing the tilda key and it doesnt work. any ideas

Go into your controls, and see what key is bound to Console.

Looks like the console bar is not available. Enable the console in your settings. Now you should be able to open up the console through the "pause menu". There's a console-button in the lower left corner of the menu.

I'd suggest this as well. I use it all the time in SP. Due to all the crashes we've had the last couple of days, I've had "cheat saveworld" as my last command used so I can quickly run it without going through the menu each time.
