Invalid Server Password

My friend and I have a server and he and one other can join the server, but every time i try to join, I get the "Invalid Server Password" message. We've tried altering the password to something so incredibly simple as xxx, literally 3 of the same letter. No matter what we try, always that message pops up, and it isn't just his server i can't access either; there are others. I've tried re-installing the game over and over after every patch, but the error persists. If anyone knows why or how to fix it, please let me know.

I have the same problem but still no solution, I changed the password several times, the problem persists, I can't log in to my own server. It's the strangest thing I've ever seen, I can log in if I remove the password but I can't log in when I add a password no matter how simple it is.

the solution is to remove the "#" character from your steam username!!!

I had to move my password to the end of the launch command.

I found this and saw what Hoelli said and I was like sure ill try anything to get into my server and it worked for me, just give it a try

As soon as I saw the message I tried it, it didn't work, I waited another day and removing my "#" from my name it seems that it already works. This is very ARK troll

start ArkAscendedServer.exe TheIsland_WP?listen?SessionName=hello?ServerPassword=123?ServerAdminPassword=password123?Port=7777?QueryPort=27015?MaxPlayers=20 -NoBattlEye works for me

Hello, i was having the same issue i went into C:\Users\Admin\Desktop\ASADS\server\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsServer and opened GameUserSettings.ini with editor, then i removed the password at the end and elft onlz the admin password that i also have in the script. After that it worked.

My unofficial server stopped showing up in the server list. My friend on PS5 can see it and login normally. In order for me to play I have to disable the password in GameUserSettings.ini and then use the command box and type in my IP address:Port info to join. If I enable a server password and try to join with IPAddress:Port Password the server says the password is invalid.
