Just me or are there missing creature's?

So I have been traveling the map and notice there where no penguins so only way to get organic poly was the small ducks, I also havent encounterd or seen any jellyfish or eel's (not complaining there XD ) but it feels like there are less dino's every where, though I also notice that the respawn is faster,
(still having a fun time in the game, just woundering if any one ells have notice it)

There are a lot of dinosaurs I have not seen as well that are in the original. Might not be implemented yet.

Ive seen penguins, eels and jellyfish. Eels are deeper and Jellyfish ive only seen inside underwater caves. Penguins were walking around one of the icebergs, but there werent many.

So they ARE around, might be unlucky spawns also.

Nope I've experienced the same thing, there are barley any Dino's around...like a ghost town, a You tuber (Nooblet) just made a video about this very thing...I suppose this is what we get for a rushed game.

I set the spawn rate from 1 to 5 in game options and it seems to work. I may even make it higher again.

oh so this is why the island seems so empty? i have set it to 0.7 thinking that 1 was the maximum, which was too much in the previous game, the map felt like an arena. but now it is just too scarce. will try it thanks.

I maxed out the respawn rate, but on my game it stopt at 1, I have tried to put respawn to 3, and will see if it changes anything,

seems dino spawns might be bugged or something like that because i have seen a variety, but not a large number of dinos, its weird compared to ark SE

yes i just went looking for underwater creatures, and i found them all, but MAN they were spread out hard.

Are the horses in the game? those are the only ones i havent seen yet..

yes. in fact, my first tame was a unicorn at the beach bob peninsula.

but i can confirm, i saw not even one penguin. and animals seem much fewer in total. i am trying -preventhibernation now, maybe that helps.

Yeah, something is not right, and I would expect a server update. I see a ton of spawn errors in my server log. As many have stated, the island often seems like a wasteland. I remember the first time I played, I was killed by a Raptor the first moment I moved outside of my starting zone. I'm now level 45 and have encountered 3 raptors total: 1 of them I tamed, another was killed by a trike while we were trying to tame, and the last was an alpha raptor (go figure).
