NVIDIA VS AMD
Ark Survivel Ascended exclusive to NVIDIA Video Cards?
Game only have support DLSS 3 to NVIDIA.
No have support FSR for Video Cards AMD. Why?

The game appears to be running much better on an NVIDIA graphics card.

The game does not have good optimization, compared to good or bad, the graphical differences between AMD and NVIDIA.
Nvidia Video Cards have much better quality than the AMD competitor, with a little more performance.
Yes, the performance is not perfect now, NVIDIA does much better than AMD.

Cause they have an exclusie deal with nvidia. And any time there is an exclusive deal with Nvidia they block FSR and xSee scaling for a certain amount of time.
im work with Nividia GTX 1660 ti ingame 3840 x 2160 in pve mode. works fine fluid.
Rest medium settings

I wish it was supported for Gforce experience, but it still works good.

The benchmark reviews I've seen show AMD running as well as NVidia or better

6750 xt, high preset with epic shadows, TSR at 40 in the res scale, 1080p, 30fps 60fps with fluid motion frames.

I have an AMD 7900xt and it runs okay. I haven't had any crashes and get around 45 50 fps with it set to 2k everything on Epic. It's weird too because normally games that run under 60fps for me I usually consider them unplayable with the jittering but ASA runs smooth at a lower framerate for whatever reason. I've seen a lot of Nvidia ppl having serious problems. Apparently even the 4090 doesn't run it very well.

I can't speak about AMD but the only reason it's running good on my 4070ti is the frame gen and DLSS. Which is awesome but I can pretty much only get 35-40 FPS or so, on 1440p high, without those aforementioned settings to save the performance. I'm not counting the beach because the game obviously runs a lot better near the coast.

I'm really curious to see how a comparable AMD card, equivalent
to a 4070-4080, performs in Ark. I'll look forward to seeing/hearing the results.

Of course it's all subject to change as the game becomes optimized.

6900 XT here and I'm working fine at 4k. I had to turn off certain effects, but SSAO is just kind of overkill anyway. FSR is an easy add later, especially in UE5, so we can probably expect it before the end of November (if they're going to add it at all). I'd prefer the developers work on stability more than brand new features. Let the artists and level designers finish the extra maps.

the difference is the scaling tech, it supports nvidia's DLSS but not AMD's FSR. that alone is the difference in a perfectly smooth game and a few hitches, games pretty much require scaling tech now so they can look this good and not need 16gb cards. not sure how well FSR works but DLSS works great on balanced or quality, the other settings seems to really affect quality without much benefit, but 5 year old computers can run ASA better than ASE because of it

I only have two Nvidia cards running the game in my household. I am running RTX 4080 and my wife is using RTX 3080. Both seem to be running fine, overall, but I can turn more settings up to Epic on my 4080, which actually causes more bugs with flickering lights and stuff. Haven't been crashing for a couple of days, but the lighting glitches need some sort of a patch.
