Items disappearing

Anyone else having issues with items disappearing when you place them in storage, dino's, or anything else?

mine too i put everything into large storage box before i went to sleep woke up and got on and box is empty lost everything

items are just banishing, like storage boxes, foundations and such!

Went to bed with over 2 days of sparkpowder, all my berries, and a bunch of cooked meat in a fridge, woke up and it was completely empty. There is also a chair missing from my cabin.

That all sounds like someone raided you.
they put the dino to sleep with tranq arrows or darts, and if your storage box is not pincoded anyone can open it.

i had this issue and am playing on PvE so this isnt a raid issue as the last guy suggested. i did however have some luck getting my stuff to show up again. i picked up the large storage box my ♥♥♥♥ was in that vanished and when i placed the same storage box back down my stuff was in it. i had a bunch of building supplies in it. not sure if this will always work, but it did a few times. seems like it kind of help the game reset the box correctly? not sure but worth a try.

Not True, im content with my player count.
you can enjoy the game in a private server just as fine. people have a choice, i just offered a good one its up to them if they want it or not. you made this into a bigger deal then it should have been. lol

This can happen when you installed mods like the one for the stack size. If its not supported anymore or up to date, the stacks are removed

Topic kind of got derailed there a little but yes, were seeing this randomly happening. Sometimes entire items vanish like the Industrial Cooker. Or just like the entire fridge is missing stuff.

The Structures vanishing to me check lon/lat 50/50. I have found them appearing there floating in the sky.

As for the items vanishing if they were in your inventory/hotbar you can sometimes swap things into those spots and get them back or drop all and get them back that way.

As for stuff vanishing from storages I have no idea what to do on it.

Were on a private server too so no one is doing any raiding and we trust everyone to not go in and steal/popcorn it as well. Were not running any mods due to the instability of the game in the first place with all the crashes happening at random. Which honestly I am fine with a crash or two. Though having everything just vanish that you may of stored up is starting to become a hassle.

maybe, but it happens to me also in single player.
my high level rhyognatha just disappeared after relog, without a trace.

Its still there !, if you transfer all into your inventory it re appears, but then put it back into storage an it disapears again, its weapons, meat etc only wood an stone an flint seems to show always, my fix was delet/uninstall ark then go ito steamapps folder an delete all files left behind, its a character file corruption, plagued me for a week before i fixed it

weird glitch because i play on single player .. ..

Well that explains what happened to me. I lost 2 juvenile rexs when I went to sleep after filling up a trough and their inventory with cooked meat. I came back about 4 or 5 hours later and they had starved and the trough had nothing in it. My tribe mate said he checked the trough and their inventory about an hour before I woke up and they still had a lot of meat.
