They're slowing likely due to the focus on xbox launch and later playstation. Cross play between them and steam is their main priority to keep in play too then. So adjustments now may be in a holding pattern until then to instead roll out with any other adjustments they want to do with those launches, especially if there is a chance changes overall affect console certs.
Could also be other things going on and a shift to patches. With ASE we saw periods tons of updates and then updates being waited on to do as one bulk one. There's never been very good transparency with them and the community in these regards.
You're very right! Forgot those are releasing this month.
Yeah I think it just released this morning. I was hoping for some patch notes on it as well. Hopefully some crash fixes and optimization but I doubt it.
Increased server performance: adjusted threshold for combining network movement message, resulting in average 80% less network-movement operations
Fixed an exploit related to movement speed
v26.23 (server) - 11/14/2023 - Minor version for servers
Tweaked some ini values to reduce/eliminate rubber banding on servers with low frame rate or players with high latency
Definitely missing notes as this was a client update obv.
All should be posted, sorry for the delay, I was asleep and my phone didn't wake me this time. xD
Sometimes it takes a bit. Are you still having the issue?
Yep, they've patched official servers twice over the last couple days but no updates released to dedicated servers.
