having simlar issue, cant seem to get voice chat to work at all, cant hear anybody talking in-game.

i think it might have to do with voice chat filter in advanced settings but i havent tested it out yet

It's broken, and only really seems to work for the first 30 people to get into a server. They're going to have to fix it before we're able to rely on in game voice.

when you talk with b held down you will see a mic icon in top left if you dont talk you wont see it idk if that the problem your having but i just figured it

I had the same problem.
You need to check your voice chat channels and put it on all.
settings->advanced->voice chat channels

Have you checked the steam settings? There are voicechat options, too. However, just guessing ... :)

I just fixed this issue. Check your windows audio settings and make sure you have your microphone set there. With discord, you can change your device that is used, but Ark appears to merely use whatever microphone is set as your device in Windows. I don't know what it does for other OS's however, so YMMV.
