Seems horrible with how servers are disappearing, crashing and lag spiking. The stability doesn't inspire confidence. Why would anyone spend $32/month for that? Any alternative work arounds for online server hosting? What a bummer.

Nitrado is awful one of the worst game server hoster they are incompetent I've already had problems in the past and I don't like their server settings interface, but we have no choices since they have exclusivity with Ark Survival Ascended.... personally I prefer Gportal because I usually use it when I host a private server and their customer service react fast when your server have a problem. errr..damn exclusivity...

Well, I am waiting for Nitrado website to actually work! My goodness, I've been sitting here for almost an hour. Can only imagine what the server owners are feeling right now. Ridiculous. So tired of greed and special interest. Survival Servers worked just fine! 504 Gateway Time-out... this is a load of cr4p. Happy new year!

I host my own private server on an ox X99 motherboard that came from a retired gaming PC with a XEON 16 core/32 thread CPU and 32 GB of DDR4 at 2400 MHz. Yes there is an up front and ongoing cost to hosting your own dedicated machine, but my server has crashed ZERO times. I control when it gets updated, if I want to apply every minor update, or wait until it's only a major update. It has never once crashed.

Not for everyone, but after years of hosting clusters of ASE, it was easy enough to get an ASA server up and running. This way I don't ever have to give Nitrado a penny.

Stop paying for servers. Just run your own. It takes like 10 min to setup. Just need a crap $100 PC.
