Constant Crashes
My PC is up to scratch to run the game fine and it does, good frames and loading but just by playing the game it keeps crashing making it almost unplayable, any fixes are appreciated.

I'm getting the same issue, runs fine when I'm in the game but after about 5 or 10 minutes the game crashes.

What does your crash error say? Mine starts with lowlevelfatalerror. Is it the same one as mine?

thats what i get. Always seems to be when I open my pack.... Seen this before on ASE, and eventually they magicly fixed it. I'm starting to wonder if they actually took advantage of any of the UE5 features like Nannite.... should have made mem usage less of an issue. This has to be a Memory leak. I notice the stupid Ickies start to fly slow before everything Go's to Bantha Poodoo.

Not sure if this will help either of you but I did just open my game directory, right clicked on both the ASA executables both ASA and ASA BE, went into compatibility mode and checked "run as administrator" to both of them.

So far touch wood not had a crash since, played for about 20 or 30 minutes now. Not sure if it's fixed the problem I'll keep you updated if it crashes again but thought I'd drop this here just in case it helps either of you.

Fat error? Try to reset from Nvidia control panel the 3d settings , tell if work

About the same here. I can play relatively fine, but crash about every 30 to 60 minutes. Being SinglePlayer this means I have to exit often, to make the game save my progress before I crash. Not very fun, but since crashes are the first things Devs usually fix, I have high hopes that it will get better soon.

I was playing just fine last night (crashed 4 times in 3-4 hours but still)

Now I cant even load the singleplayer game up without seeing:

It's a shame bc of the anticipation this game had and the excitement around it but the choices made to publish early without ironing this stuff out (there is no way this wasn't found in testing if done correct) will kill their game.
I can successfully replicate the crash.
If you go into the menu, then down the bottom you have an option that says 'Reset Cinematics and Cosmetic items' it gives me the fatal error every time.

So now I don't need to wait 10mins for it to randomly crash.
I can force it to crash.
How that helps....

It doesn't.

But just wanted to share that I have a method to force the crash consistently now.

There is a Save Game button in the Escape Menu so you don't need to fully exit the game.

Its the same for me. Its weird as when i first started it was fine, but now crashes after a few minutes.

It's a shame bc of the anticipation this game had and the excitement around it but the choices made to publish early without ironing this stuff out (there is no way this wasn't found in testing if done correct) will kill their game.

Update: running the game as admin seemed to have solved it but I think that was just dumb luck as I'm now back to square one with crashes happening frequently.

I get the same fatal error that crashes the game, the Access Violation thing from UE. If anyone knows how to fix pls let me know, you would do a favor for society and farm karma points
