Will it help with this game ? Maybe a bit but I know people with top end systems both AMD and Nvidia that cant get good fps unless they pop everything to low.
This game is just in a very bad state at the moment.. so if its only this you play then hold off.
My advise is not just for this game or Star Citizen but all around.
Takes pressure off CPU from Win 11 extreme requirements.
As with the Original game it may take time for them to patch in some decent optimizations, so just be patient and dont waste money when you dont have to.
u are right spending money because of one game would be dumb.
Turn off the volumetric clouds and it works perfectly.
It took the original game a couple years to get proper optimizations, just saying.
Before the 2nd or 3rd year resource usage sucked, 16GB RAM and a GPU with 2-4GB VRAM(at the time) was important, especially the RAM aspect.
for all other Games strong rec. to the 5800X3D, pushes way more FPS out of your 6800XT.
Have the same Graphic Card, my Upgrade from a 3600X (same Gen/6 Cores) to the 5800X3D was huge for the min/max. FPS. Very huge.
