NON-DEDICATED TETHER IS BACK

So i just started to play a server with a few friends. We were going to play non dedicated because we cant pay for a server right now. And too my unfortunate surprise THERE IS TETHER AGAIN. WHY!!!! IS THERE ANYWAY TO REMOVE IT. you got me ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up buying a server from ♥♥♥♥ nitrado servers

Can you play on the same Computer that's running the Server?

Bro are you for real? Do you understand why it’s there? The host can’t load multiple areas with their pc like servers can. Tether is there to stop non host players from reaching areas where the host player isn’t rendering. If you break it non host players will see low LOD and no Dino spawning outside the host rendering area. Simple as that.

Yes we currently have a server running and someone playing at the sametime as we speak

That i'm not sure of yet until it comes out and our Server Admin Hub figures it out

yes i understand why its there, what i dont like is why i cant turn it off. My pc specs should easily be able to host it full range. You also cant modify the distance

In that case you may want to consider disclosing that information on how to set up. a lot of people are pissed off at this "non-dedicated Tether" crap.

So your saying your pc should be able to load the world at full max. Yeah no way buddy. Your computer would crash. Your ram would shoot through the roof. I don’t think you understand.
