Does this run on steam deck?

it does and looks good. only about 20fps though. be sure to set all video settings to low and off. however you can't play on official servers due to battleye AC i read.

From a topic posted earlier, someone said it runs on the deck, but I wouldn't expect it to run well and it has to be on the internal ssd. I couldn't tell you the performance, as I haven't installed the game on my deck.

Would you guys say it's worth buying for the deck? 20fps doesn't sound all too well :/

I knew it was mentioned it didn't run very well as it is a unreal engine 5 game, but I haven't installed it because I don't have the space on my internal ssd. If I may ask how much space does it take currently?

That is up to you, but it also isn't optimized that well as well. For all we know once they optimize it more it might play better.

Also if you had a ps3 and played late gen ps3 titles and was good with the performance you might be able to handle it.

Yeah. I think I'll probably wait for some optimization updates for it to run better cause 20 fps sounds pretty awful. I'm also not sure how big the game currently is so not sure if it would even fit on my SSD on my deck. I'm currently moving so have my PC packed,but my PC should be able to run it,but at the moment I only have my deck on hand.

i had it on my Rog Alley now Im downloading on my laptop bc it plays so badly.. i did try change the settings and it keeps on crashing.

Oh if it's only 70gb than I can fit that on my deck for sure,but I'm just worried about the performance. I'm sorta waiting for someone who has the deck to confirm how it performs on it before I wasted 45 dollars.

Have you tried different proton versions?

Edit: I tried a few protons after posting this and I'm freezing at the character creation.

I have no proton compatibility enabled and can access the game, just need to lower all settings to get better fps. (512GB edition)
