building doorways?

Is this a bug? I learned walls and doorways, but I only have walls I can build. No doorways.

While youre in placing mode for the wall, it should say above the hotbar what key to press. I think its R?

I see the tile options to pick wall/doorway/window etc but it has <> under 1st tile and nothing i try will fn move it to another tile like the friggin doorway. Q and E aint them. arrows keys aint them. Z and C aint them. WTF is the keys to move <>?

The default key for me to switch is R. I hope this helps.

Do you have your HUD disabled? Otherwise it tells you right above your hotkey bar which buttons to press to swap between different door and wall types depending on which controller or keyboard/mouse you are using.
