Does the Price Include the DLC?

If they wanna charge $45 for the base game and DLC (as it becomes available), fine, I might bite.
If they're charging $45 for the base game, PLUS more per DLC, they can go to hell.

So basically here and now Day 1, are we ONLY buying the base game, or are we buying the season pass right now?

EDIT: From what I understand, it is essentially a season pass, thank you for the replies.
Unfortunately, Wildcard has broken their promises before, and it seems to be unplayable (for most) on the specs they themselves set. So I will be waiting for improvements if I choose to buy it at all. I still have the original after all.

yes,all DLC is included with the 45$ "A key thing to remember is that Ark: Survival Ascended will include all its previously released DLCs and maps in its remade form and will have its own content roadmap. This will include new story content for the game, further gameplay/QOL changes, new DLC, seasonal events, and over time, we’ll be releasing 11 brand new creatures (More than any previous DLC expansions)."

Many might say you are getting the DLC with the intro price and even the website I believe says so....still, Im steering clear of this as the price has already doubled opening day, so whose to say they might change their minds on DLC or even calling this ARK 2 now? Too many dodgy things going on atm for me. I`ll wait a few months to see what happens here. Best of luck in whatever you decide. Let us all know if it was worth it 6 months from now, if so, I might bite.

This is not true. I just read the store page. It says, "In addition to The Island, we plan to have the following content available, remade, in Unreal Engine 5-"

Available is not the same thing as included. Hence the thread.

EDIT: I see the boo-boo. I was reading the Early Access blurb, kind of just guessing they pulled the previous description over for the main page. My bad.

I really hope they don’t charge for old dlc maps, I think it will prevent people buying them. I think most will wait till the new dlcs come out. That’s if they don’t pull ASA.
