Linux Support for Official??

Hi, Singleplayer works great on Linux (Garuda). But I keep getting kicked when I join official because of "Unsupported Platform". Will there be Linux support? I will not install f**king windows...

Good luck with that, if anything like ASE (which it surely is) you will just end up wasting tons of time when they release game updates for the Windows game client but not for the Linux/Mac ones, then you end up waiting days or weeks for a client update with zero support, lose your progress, etc.

Referring to multiplayer really, the game works but when the game updates the servers update and then it's not possible to join with the Linux client until they release the update for it which tends to lag behind a lot.

They pushed dedicated files 30 min ago, maybe also changed battle eye flags (I haven't bought the game yet, because of linux support, so can't test).

im playing on ubuntu (unofficial server) with proton 8.0
i use geforce now on chromium to go on official server

I have ordered ASA in the first few hours after release. It seems to work smoothly on Linux (tested with Fedora 36) and that is except that I am using an old GPU but I am ordering a new one soon.

Anyway, first day ASA was not available on Geforce now and I was not able to join Official servers on Linux with the same error "You have been kicked by BattlEye. Reason 'Unsupported Platform'", so I had to return the game and wait for Linux support.

I am not sure if I buy it again after a few days and Linux still doesn't work if I can ask for refund again or not given I still played less than 2 hours total. (PS the issue is they count the main menu as playing too lol)

Anyway, I am tentative now. I want to support the devs and I understand there is still a lot of work to do here. But at the same time I do not want to buy the game if there are no clear plans to officially support it in the future. If this is confirmed for sure I would buy it and play on Geforce Now for 2 or 3 months until it becomes officially supported.
