Price changed?!

i was about to but the game for R300(i live in SA, this is about 15 dollars)

the price has just doubled, guess i'm not getting it

Oh normally you and I dont agree.. but on this I can agree it BS. Regional pricing is good if balanced. Some places 40$ US would be like 800$ "just a made up example for effect" i remember when I was running own print / advertising company. I did work for this "and I use term loosely.." man. And I charged him $400 US.. which was less then half what other companies would of charged. But he wanted me to do it for $50 US!!! Because guy in russia would do it for $50 US.. At time i did the math and guy would of been getting the equivalent of around $800 Ruble. So he would make around double what I was making. So he could charge less in US currency of course as he made more actually profit. Plus guy was going to do less then half the work I was doing.

So regional pricing is a must. As some countries opposite. $40 US might be like 20$ or 80$ for them depending on conversion.

Its actually $45 but they have discount so its $40.49. How long that lasts we will have to wait and see. But yes its normal US price for now.

btw: average salary in Argentine is 140-190€ (150-200 USD)

thats like when ppl from US will need pay roughly 1200-1700 USD for this game.

If you cant make the distinction of one thing to another then the fault lies with you. There is no rule anywhere stating that you HAVE to quote someone when responding to something they said.

All I know is that there was a sale the day I picked it up for myself and a friend. Normal price said $70 AUD (temporarily down to $63 AUD for that day alone). That's around the same price as the average base level WoW expansion o.O

if your average salary in argentina is less then 200 euro you shouldnt play games ,

Guys there are a few things to think about with the differences in price around the world. One of them is the conversion rate back to USD as that is where WC is based. Next is local taxes, there there is the cut Steam takes off the top. WC is developing a game and they deserve to be paid for it. They need to get back their investment with profit as that is why they do this. Then you look at Snail the publisher not the developer completely different. We know Snail is greedy but ASE showed us that WC is NOT greedy. They poured a lot of money back into the community. When the game was done and went full retail how long was it before you found it again for $19,99 or well way less then the AAA game cost they had to invoke due to industry standards.

So much goes into this that so many do not understand. Game development is a business and business is about making money. Give WC time and this game will be as great as ASE
