Price is a joke!

To be honest, I enjoyed ARK on PlayStation when it released and had fun for many hours, but charging 40€ for a graphic overhaul is a joke, I get it they need money but come on like they're poor and don't made enough money with the old version. I don't want it for free, but at least give players who already own ARK (what's unplayable now because of this) a discount and charge half the price or something.

And no, I'm not poor if you come up with this, but it's just the same game with new graphics.

How I said I don't care about money, I spend more for other games. But it's a graphic overhaul and they don't care about players who already own the old version. That's what I think sucks.

would be a valid argument if Wildcard hadn't made millions and millions with Ark 1 and now they need extra money? why? how? what did they do with those millions?

edit: for a visual update like this, we should have a discount if we already own Ark... but it is what it is.

Yeah it is, I would have happily paid $60 for it.
But since it was $40, the hour I spent sleeping at work this morning covered the cost.
There arnt that many games out there that you can pay 2 cents or less per hour of play.

And to be clear, theh made over a billion on Ark 1. Not this Ark 1, the one that came out in 2023. The first Ark 1, from 2015.

most new games nowadays are 60 euro, so i think 40 is fine, could be less of course, but at least they didnt put it at 60

Dunno, I actually do. But Wildcard isn't poor and it's not a new game, just like a remastered, if it would be ARK 2 I don't have a problem paying 60-70€

Paying this much for an engine overhaul is bat ♥♥♥♥♥ crazy... 7d2d did it for free... want pointers on how to do engine overhauls right? talk to TFP (i know they are being bogged down by feature creep but engine upgrade they atleast did right)
