Do not patronize me further please. If anyone here is running their mouth, it's you young man. Look at your immature comments prior to your little argument here. I'm not sure how you think the way you think, but it's apparent you have a need to be right, when unfortunately in fact you're wrong. Believe me if all I needed to do was "FIX" my more than capable computer then absolutely I'm all over that, but it's simply not the case and you know it.
I assume you're thanks to me is for me supplying some life advice to you, to which you are welcome ;)

I turned down view distance and illumination I believe? I am able to get around 60-90 frames per second with pretty much everything else on high. In air tho it can dip to the 50s when flying. I like the way the clouds look so I leave those on, but I am sure if I turned them off I would gain some frames. Hopefully some performance patches will be released in the future.
This runs a little better on Amd gpu's which is wildly weird being the game has DLSS but no Fsr or other Upscale tech. They should as least add TSR and TAAU with a slider.
No this is UE5, players keep wanting devs to go to UE5 because pretty, this is the result.
I pretty much just bumped down the 2 main settings global illumination and shadows 1 notch to high and turned on AFMF.
I'm a veteran player and absolutely love ARK with all it's ups and downs. Don't listen to company white knights, who are trying to defend everything - as I said this is literally one of my favorite games, but I still have my own pride and speak up when something is not acceptable - and there are a TON of issues right now. Remember we are almost in the year 2024, this is not a 2015 Early-Access release, it does not cost only 15 €/$, it's not the engine's fault or limitation and this is not a new game release/IP from the ground up, it is the same game with beautiful graphics and Quality of Life improvements. They were familiar with what they are working with and yet here we are.
The game currently has way more issues on systems with high end rigs, lower ones aren't affected that much. I tested it on all low, medium and high settings. It is currently a roulette, if you are lucky - good for you. Otherwise you are going to have a bad time.
